It’s not every day you get the chance to be featured in a magazine! and it’s not everyday 2 guys from the same camp, get featured in the same edition…..
First up was myself in the “Great Planted Tanks” feature. I was kindly asked by George Farmer if I would like to have the Maidenhead Aquatics Iwagumi Aquascape featured in the June edition of Practical Fishkeeping Magazine. I of course said yes! Just to be asked was an honour for me especially with my relatively short time I’ve had in the hobby.
A day was quickly arranged between George, Dan Crawford and myself for the photo session and interview. George and Dan, if you don’t already know, are 2 of the 5 original founders of the very successful website UKAPS.
Next to be featured was our very own James Maslin. The “Evolution” scape is for sure, a stunner and truly shows James’ abilities to foresee what an aqua scape will eventually end up looking like, long before fruition.
Hopefully, this will not be the last time we get to see our work in magazines such as PFK and we strive forever more to create works which will help to inspire others to join the Planted Tank scene. So, on that note, I’d like to thank George Farmer and PFK Editor, Matt Clarke for the time and effort and for allowing me and James to showcase our works. James’ current tank, “Without Foundation” is also featured in the blog section of the PFK website.

Although I haven’t seen the magazine I’m delighted to see you finally getting a bit more exposure. Onwards and upwards
