“Autumn Blush” @ 10 weeksFiled under Journals // Make a comment »
After approximately 10 weeks this Aquascape has taken on a completely different look to my initial idea. As with all of my scapes, the learning curve is key and to watch plants grow and to see how they develop and “sit” into an Aquascape is important. I guess you could say it’s a case of look and learn with our own tank designs.
With each mistake made, you should learn and try and remember, whether this be mentally or physically written down. One great way though is an image.
The following images are all from my latest 60cm tank “Autumn Blush” they include the addition of 2 new backgrounds, the first being a plain black style and the second a more sophisticated graduated blue type.

love this.
i like how instead of using a thick bunch of stems at the back middle you have a few sparse ones which does not distract you from the great centre piece.
one thing though that you already know, but the left hand side HM looks too far foward. if it was further back i think i would like this even more
